The Mediterranean Coordination Office oversees the activities of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Italy and Malta and its relations and representation at the Holy See. It cooperates with the United Nations specialised agencies based in Italy, participates in relevant inter-agency mechanisms and supports regional and international migration processes and dialogues relating to Italy, Malta, the Holy See and the wider Mediterranean region.
